Falcom and Tatsunoko Production announced The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War anime premieres in January 2023. Alongside the premiere date reveal, the newly announced voice cast shared comments about their participation in the anime.

Rean Schwarzer – VA: Koki Uchiyama
“It blows my mind to think that it’s been about ten years since the first Trails of Cold Steel game was released. Time goes by so quickly. I was also incredibly curious to see how Rean would fit into this anime adaptation of the Trails of Cold Steel series. Please look forward to next year’s broadcast.”
Altina Orion – VA: Inori Minase
“The Trails of Cold Steel series is coming your way in anime form! Unlike a game where only my voice was recorded, acting out Altina’s character along with video from the anime during the dubbing allowed me to experience some new discoveries and feelings. A new mobile game adaptation of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War is currently in development by UserJoy. The game releases in Q2 2023.
