Aniplex announced Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles surpassed 2.7 million copies sold worldwide.
The latest Demon Slayer game’s sales data includes physical shipments and digital copies sold. Aniplex announced the sales milestone shortly after the release of DLC character Gyutaro, so these sales likely account for data before the DLC release.
Before the Switch version launched, the Demon Slayer title reached one million copies sold across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Roughly 1.7 million copies were sold since the Switch version launched on June 9, 2022. The game is expected to surpassed 3 million by early 2023.
