    Dark Souls: Remastered PC online features have been restored

    Security issues finally resolved.

    Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced online features for the PC version of Dark Souls: Remastered have been restored.

    Previously, online features for multiple Dark Souls games were disabled due to a widespread security vulnerability. The vulnerability would allow for malicious users to remotely execute code and commands while the player is online. Fortunately, the security issues appears to be remedied in Dark Souls: Remastered for PC. These issues did not extend into the console versions, so players may enjoy those games as originally intended.
