    KLab to develop a new My Hero Academia online game

    From the developer of Bleach Brave Souls.

    Bleach Brave Souls developer KLab announced that its acquired the rights to develop a brand-new online game utilizing the My Hero Academia intellectual property. KLab acquired the rights from the My Hero Academia Production Committee.

    According to KLab, rights for the new My Hero Academia online game include a global release with the exception of mainland China. Details about the online game including release window, platforms, and the title itself are scarce. However, the company ensures that it will approach the game with expertise gained from operating other anime and manga based titles around the world. Many of KLab’s titles are currently available for mobile platforms.

    Among KLab’s most successful games is Bleach Brave Souls for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Bleach Brave Souls recently surpassed 70 million downloads worldwide, and the game is currently running events based on the Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War anime.

    The latest game in the My Hero Academia franchise, My Hero Ultra Rumble, is currently in development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. A closed beta was held this past August on PlayStation 4. Lastly, an exact release date for My Hero Ultra Rumble has not been announced.
