    Bandai Namco revealed new details about the My Hero Ultra Rumble closed beta ahead of its launch on August 17 at 7 p.m. PT.

    Players will be able to try out My Hero Ultra Rumble before release in the closed beta on PlayStation 4. The closed beta will be held in two phases, and the phase 1 runs from August 17 at 7 p.m. PT to August 18 at 3 a.m. PT. My Hero Ultra Rumble closed beta’s second phase begins on August 18 at 7 p.m. PT and ends on August 21 at 11 p.m. PT.

    In the My Hero Ultra Rumble Closed Beta, players can get a first hands-on with eight Heroes including Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo, and four playable Villains with Tomura Shigaraki and Himiko Toga, among others. Characters are classified as Assault, Strike, Technical, Support, or Rapid types, which dictates how they play and use special moves.

    Heroes and Villains can join forces in battle in My Hero Ultra Rumble , giving fans the chance to build dream teams like never before. Players can obtain ability cards and upgrades by opening supply boxes, defeating enemies, and rescuing/intimidating civilians.

    The My Hero Ultra Rumble Closed Beta will run in two phases, as scheduled below:

    • Phase 1: Starts on Aug. 17 at 7:00 p.m. PT, and ends on Aug. 18 at 3:00 a.m. PT
    • Phase 2: Starts on Aug. 18 at 7:00 p.m. PT, and ends on Aug. 21 at 11:00 p.m. PT
    In My Hero Ultra Rumble , players will join one of eight three-player teams as Heroes or Villains and battle across an expansive city map. By controlling classic My Hero characters, fans can make the most of their Quirks to attack enemies and cooperate with their team to survive fights. Players can also contribute to their team’s victory by rescuing or intimidating civilians on the field to obtain powerful items that can determine the outcome of the battle.

    Lastly, My Hero Ultra Rumble is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
