The Umbra Witch strikes again in Bayonetta 3, and this guide dives right into the exact launch time and price for the latest game from PlatinumGames.
Bayonetta 3 launch is set for Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 9 p.m. PDT digitally and Friday, October 28 at retail. Physical standard and limited edition copies will be sold at major retailers such as Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy. The standard edition costs $59.99 while the limited Trinity Masquerade Edition costs $89.99. The Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition includes a collector’s box, the physical Switch game, three alternate box art covers, and an extensive art book. Pre-orders are available now at participating retailers.
Nintendo’s official description of Bayonetta 3 reads:
Bayonetta struts through multiple locations in an all-new, over-the-top climax action game. Sporting a wicked new ensemble and somehow familiar pigtails, the titular Umbra Witch must face a mysterious evil using her signature guns and time-slowing Witch Time ability. This time, invading manmade bioweapons called Homunculi find themselves in Bayonetta’s crosshairs.

Tap into Bayonetta’s naughtier side with Demon Masquerade, a new ability that channels the demon linked to her weapon allowing for some exciting action options, not to mention some hair-raising combos.
