Akai Katana Shin is coming to PC

Steam version joins previously announced console versions.

City Connection announced shoot ’em up Akai Katana Shin is coming to PC via Steam alongside the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions.

The new release includes three versions of Akai Katana:

  • Akai Katana (Akai Katana Origin) – Side-scrolling shoot ’em up originally released in arcades in 2010.
  • Akai Katana Shin (Akai Katana Slash) – A new version of Akai Katana with a widescreen aspect ratio and renewed systems.
  • Zetsu Akai Katana (Akai Katana Climax) – Based on the systems of Akai Katana, but with balance adjustments.

Akai Katana launches December 15 across all four platforms including PC. Lastly, check out the new soundtrack trailer below via City Connection:
