    Upcoming projects include Digimon Story.

Yokota is new producer that joined the Digimon game team at Bandai Namco in 2022. The new hire is leading production of Digimon World: Next Order’s upcoming release while Habu works on other projects. One of the projects Habu is working on is a new Digimon Story title.

Messages from both producers are available below:

    Hello everyone!
My name is Kazumasa Habu and I am the producer of Digimon games in Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. Thank you for playing Digimon games!
Today, I would like to announce that we have decided to release Digimon World: Next Order on Nintendo Switch and Steam. Currently, we have multiple Digimon game projects in the pipeline and Digimon World: Next Order is actually handled by a new producer that joined the Digimon game team this year.
I would like have my team member give you a brief introduction to the Nintendo Switch and Steam versions of Digimon World: Next Order. Please look forward to the upcoming Digimon Games!
    -Kazumasa Habu
Hi everyone! My name is Takahiro Yokota, nice to meet you.
As a port from the original release, Digimon World: Next Order will be released on Nintendo Switch and Steam. It is a monster-raising/training JRPG where you can raise and train two partner Digimon at the same time, explore the Digital World with them, and battle with wild Digimon.
What’s more, we are adding two new convenient features into the Nintendo Switch and Steam versions. One is a lower game difficulty “Beginner Mode” and the other one is “Running” to help you move faster in the Digital World. I hope these will help both new players and players who played the original release enjoy the game better!
Digimon World: Next Order will be released for Nintendo Switch and Steam on February 22, 2023. We will release more information on our official website and social media accounts.
Please look forward to Digimon World: Next Order and other upcoming Digimon games!
    -Takahiro Yokota
