New Digimon Story game is still in development, Digimon World remaster being considered

    During Digimon Con 2022, producer Kazumasa Habu discussed the Digimon Story and Digimon World franchises. According to Habu, the Digimon Story game confirmed back in 2017 is still in development. The new game is set in a digital world and focused around the Olympos XII. Additionally, Digimon World is being considered for a port, remaster or remake at Bandai Namco. Habu states that he’s considering what’s best between the options. For instance, a port or remaster is highly feasible while a remake would take more development time and resources thanks to the implementation of brand new content.
