Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.3 update is available now with an additional bug fix. Nintendo Switch Online members that own Nintendo Switch Sports receive a one week membership extension due to the game’s recent server downtime.
Patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.3 update are available below via Nintendo:
Bug Fix
-
We’ve made a fix for players who couldn’t resolve the issue of software closing even by applying the previous update (Ver. 1.2.2).
-
After updating, some players may find that the order of “Accessories (head)” in “Customize” will be different than before the update. This will not have effects on playing the game.
-
On the extension of Nintendo Switch Online and in-game points
For those who have Nintendo Switch Sports and are currently a member of Nintendo Switch Online, the membership period will be extended by one week. Details will follow in the future.
Between October 17, 2022 and November 2, 2022, points earned when playing “Play Globally” will double on all sports.
-
Normally, 1.1x to 1.3x points are given in “Random” or in one of the sports.
-
There are plans for a method to collect rewards missed during this time. Details will follow in the future.
Lastly, Nintendo Switch Sports is available now for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
