Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.1 update on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

The Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.1 update targets fraudulent behavior in online play such as save data manipulation. Players will be suspended for violating Nintendo’s Community Guidelines if Nintendo detects unfair play against others.

  • Strengthened measures against disruptive behaviors.
    • Online play will be suspended for violations of Nintendo’s Community Guidelines, including if we detect fraudulent behavior such as save data manipulation.
