Following an in-depth feature about The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero by RPGSite, NIS America issued an official statement about the PS4 version of the game.
The PS4 version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero will remain consistent with the original Japanese release known as The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki Kai. Nintendo Switch and PC versions feature graphical upgrades and quality-of-life improvements developed by Peter “Durante” Thoman. Durante detailed upgrades made to the PC and Switch versions in two blog posts posted this past June and August.
“The PlayStation 4 version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero will be consistent with the original Japanese release for this title,” NIS America said to Gematsu. “This will be an original experience by Nihon Falcom that does not include any additional work provided by other developers.”
NIS America added, “The additional content coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC ports have been explained in detail by Peter ‘Durante’ Thoman, CTO, PH3 in these blogs [Part 1, Part 2] that were released in June and August respectively.”
Lastly, The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero releases on September 27 followed by the European release on September 30.
