Cyberpunk 2077 ‘Phantom Liberty’ expansion announced

    CD Projekt Red announced the “Phantom Liberty” expansion releases in 2023 for Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

    The Phantom Liberty expansion introduces a new cast of characters as the protagonist V embarks on a new mission within Night City. Additionally, renowned actor Keanu Reeves returns for the role of Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077.

    CD Projekt Red also shared new details regarding the new Cyberpunk 2077 “Edgerunners” update, patch 1.6, which features items from the upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime by Studio TRIGGER. Players will have the chance to don the jacket worn by David Martinez, the anime’s protagonist, and wield a shotgun used by another character from the show. Patch 1.6 will be the final update for Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. As a result, the new Phantom Liberty expansion will not be available for PS4 and Xbox One versions of Cyberpunk 2077.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for Google Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam. Lastly, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime launches September 13 exclusively on Netflix.
