DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Episode 1 releases September 22

A new crime mystery for Meta Quest 2.

MyDearest announced DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Episode 1 releases September 22 for Meta Quest 2.

MyDearest released a brand-new trailer for the game ahead of next month’s launch. Additionally, DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Episode 1 is currently playable for Gamescom 2022 attendees at the indie area, Factory-c, Hall 10.2, E-010g-D-21g.

“We wanted to make the best game in the world,” said MyDearest producer Kento Kishigami. “We started development (DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate) without any compromise in graphics, game system, motion, music story, etc. We ignored the schedule and budget and made sure we had the best creators for each element. I think it’s really rare to find a game that is so dedicated to delivering such a great experience for the player. I love all of our past works but this is the first time I have been truly moved by one.”

“I have always been fascinated by immersive and interactive storytelling experiences,” said MyDearest director Ao Matsuoka, “unlike previous gaming systems, VR is a medium that excels at depicting a first person experience in a deep and natural way. We wanted to create a first-person VR game that portrays the complex intertwined subject of an ensemble drama. The whole team brought so many ideas to the table to make it as interesting as possible. We hope you enjoy DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate!”
