The Game Awards showrunner Geoff Keighley announced Sonic Frontiers will be shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022.
News and a world premiere for Sonic Frontiers will be part of the Gamescom Opening Night Live event on August 23 at 2 p.m. EDT. Sonic Frontiers is one of the 30+ games on stage for the digital showcase.
Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022 runs for roughly two hours as an in-person showcase streamed around the world. The event takes place during Gamescom 2022 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. In-person tickets are still available now through the official website.
Lastly, Sonic Frontiers releases this holiday for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
