With Xenoblade Chronicles 3 right around the corner, many fans are wondering if Nintendo will be releasing a demo for the highly anticipated RPG. The newest chapter in the beloved series is set to release on July 29th, but will players get a chance to explore Aionios before that?
Will there be a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Demo?
Unfortunately, it does not look like that a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 demo will be happening. Since the game releases worldwide on July 29th and Nintendo has yet to release a demo, it does not seem likely. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition both did not receive demos before launch. If that stays the same, then Nintendo will not be releasing a demo for the latest entry in the Xenoblade Chronicles series once again.
Usually for demos, it makes sense to offer players a chance to explore the world a few weeks before launch. If Nintendo were to have released a demo, it would have made the most sense to do so either this week or last week based on previous releases. The argument that a demo would not work for the game can be thrown out the window. Nowadays, more and more JRPGs especially are receiving demos prior to launch. We saw it with Tales of Arise back in September, as well as something as big as Final Fantasy VII Remake back in 2020. Even Live A Live, releasing next week, received a demo just a few weeks back. JRPGs are now more than ever receiving demos for players to enjoy.
Even without a demo, the anticipation for the game will not back down. It has continued to grow with every passing week. Especially after the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct, which showed off all sorts of gameplay mechanics not seen yet. After the Special Edition pre-order debacle, everyone is just ready to play this game.
The newest trailer released just a few weeks back, and we are just over two weeks away from the latest entry in the beloved series. Be sure to stay tuned to Final Weapon for all our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 coverage, including a review, all sorts of guides, and much more!
