Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced today that its popular open-world action RPG title, Genshin Impact, will officially launch on NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service GeForce NOW on June 23 in over 80 countries and regions.

Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG that brings players to the visually stunning world of Teyvat. The player takes on the role of the mysterious “Traveler,” who sets off on a journey to discover the fate of their lost sibling and unveils the mysterious secrets of Teyvat along the way. Currently, players can explore Mondstadt, Liyue Harbor, and Inazuma, three of the seven major cities in Teyvat, each with unique cultures, stories, and vast regions, and offering a diversity of creatures, monsters, secrets, and hidden treasures for players to discover. Further cities, stories, characters, and seasonal events will be released as the game progresses!

“The Genshin Impact beta on GeForce NOW showed us the potential of bringing an immersive gaming experience within reach to many more gamers,” said Wenyi Jin, Vice President of Globalization at HoYoverse. “We believe that GeForce NOW makes it possible for both existing fans to expand where and how they play, and for new players to start with more options.”

With the game coming to GeForce NOW, Genshin Impact players will be able to enter Teyvat anywhere and across a wider range of devices. Players can stream the game on PC, Mac, and Chromebook.

“Genshin Impact is a fantastic game that’s wildly popular around the globe,” said Phil Eisler, Vice President and General Manager of GeForce NOW at NVIDIA. “We look forward to its official launch on GeForce NOW next week, which will give millions of Genshin Impact fans and new players an opportunity to play the full PC version on more devices.”

GeForce NOW is offered in North America and most of Europe by NVIDIA. GeForce NOW Alliance partners offer the service in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and South America. GeForce NOW memberships vary by region and partner, including the new GeForce NOW RTX 3080 membership streaming from the world’s most powerful gaming supercomputer, the GeForce NOW SuperPOD, in regions operated by NVIDIA.

Genshin Impact is available now for PS4, PS5, iOS, Android, PC via Windows, and Epic Games Store. A Switch version is in development.
