The Squid Research Lab Weapons Division is back with the latest information regarding Splatling weapons in Splatoon 3. Splatling weapons are heavy-duty weapons that charge up and unleash a rapid-fire dose of ink. Mobility is hindered with Splatling weapons, but skilled players will hit devastating shots with them.
“Squid Research Lab Weapons Division here, checking in with our latest findings on splatlings. These heavy-duty weapons are designed to charge up and then unleash a torrent of rapid-fire ink. They usually don’t offer much in the way of mobility, but when they hit, they hit.”
First up, the Squid Research Lab introduced the Hydra Splatling. The Hydra Splatling blasts ink with very high pressure thanks to compressed air. The second Splatling, the Heavy Splatling, fires rapid ink like a mini-gun. The frame allows for faster ink refills. Check out both Splatling weapons from Splatoon 3 below, via Nintendo:
Speaking of heavy, how about the Heavy Splatling? The new model offers a frame to support the tank and valves, making it easier to refill. Because you know how expensive printer ink is, right? Well, this ink costs—Whoa. I don’t actually know how much. I smell a research grant! pic.twitter.com/cx0Q68P0x6
