The final arc of the Naoko Takeuchi’s original Sailor Moon manga finally arrives on the big screen next year! Two-part anime film project Sailor Moon Cosmos was revealed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Sailor Moon anime. The Sailor Moon Cosmos Part 1 and 2 movies premiere in Summer 2023 across Japan. The official website for Sailor Moon Cosmos is live with a new key visual and trailer:
Tomoya Takahashi (Toei Animation) is directing both anime films alongside the following returning staff:
