According to Versus Evil community lead Dave Hulegaard, the Switch version of Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire has been cancelled (Thanks, r/NintendoSwitch). News about the game had been scarce for a long time and it seems like development reached a standstill. However, details about the cancellation were not given. Here’s what Hulegaard had to say:
“Hey there! Unfortunately, after much deliberation, we have decided not to move forward with Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire for the Nintendo Switch.”
