Nintendo announced that they’ve acquired long-term development partner SRD. 100% of SRD’s shares are now owned by Nintendo and the acquisition closes on April 1st. SRD has worked with Nintendo for nearly 4 decades in Kyoto and have an office at Nintendo Development Center. According to Nintendo, the acquisition will strengthen the management base of SRD and lead to more efficient software development across both parties.
