Capcom Cup VIII canceled due to coronavirus concerns

Capcom announced today that Capcom Cup VIII is canceled due to coronavirus concerns. The event was originally planned for February 2022 but due to the rise in Omicron cases, Capcom opted for an online event with players who qualified for Capcom Cup VIII. As a result, Street Fighter League: World Championship 2021 is also canceled. Here’s the full statement by Capcom:
