Techland announced that 9 new Winter Events are coming to Dying Light! The first of these events, HyperMode, is live right now. Players will deck the halls while trying to complete some insane challenges along the way. The new Hellraid update is also out now which adds even more content in the zombie apocalypse game. Wrocław, Poland — December 13, 2021 — This winter brings nine new events to Dying Light’s city of Harran, coming all throughout an entire month. These winter festivities boast new enemies and rewards. Help survivors get ready for the holidays and seize the chance to win items from paid bundles.
Harran’s winter celebrations are divided into two phases, and will start with two events:
The HyperMode with a reduction in fall damage, from December 9 (7:00 PM CET)
Local goal: To kill enemies with your bare fists.
Reward: The HyperArgument item from the Harran Tactical Unit bundle.
The Super Crane event, from December 16 (7:00 PM CET)
Local goal: To kill zombies by throwing them off the roofs.
Reward: The Volkatronix from the Retrowave bundle.
Phase 1 of the winter celebration ends on December 23 (7:00 PM CET). Right after, Phase 2 brings plentiful surprises, a bunch of new events, and one icy cold enemy. Techland will soon unwrap more of these gifts, but for now, watch the new Winter Trailer for Dying Light.
A Free New Update for Hellraid is Now Available with New Quests and Locations
Evil forces never rest. This time, brave heroes will have to face a new and powerful enemy: Lord Asmorod and his army of skeleton-type minions. Defeat him to earn the Dark Wand, take control of freezing magic, and put an end to Anat’s intrigue!
The Hellraid DLC update also brings new map areas and two new quests full of skeletons. Fight through these new locations of the scriptorium to disrupt the dark ritual!
