Recently, SEGA clarified some details regarding their strategic partnership with Microsoft (Thanks, VGC). According to the company, this partnership will not result in Xbox exclusive games. SEGA will develop large scale games utilizing Microsoft’s Azure cloud service. Microsoft will be assisting with Azure, technical support and more for the new “super game“. Here’s what the company had to say:

“When we announced the concept of Super Game, Microsoft was sympathetic to that vision and that leads to the announcement this time.

About this, we are not talking about releasing games to Microsoft exclusively, but rather to develop Super Game that will be delivered to the world together, with their technical support.”
