Shin Megami Tensei V surpasses 140,000 retail copies sold in Japan within first 3 days of release

    Published:

Famitsu published sales day for the week of November 8th – 14th and Shin Megami Tensei V was the best selling game in Japan! The game sold 143,247 copies at retail during it’s first 3 days of release. Since the sales exclude digital copies, the game’s first week sales are likely higher and already one of the best in series history. Mario Party Superstars came in at #2 with 45,045 copies sold and Dragon Quest X: Tensei no Heroes Online for Switch came in #3 at 22,072 copies sold. Another dominant week for Switch in Japan and the highly anticipated release of Shin Megami Tensei V led the charge.
