Idola: Phantasy Star Saga ends service on January 12th 2022 in Japan

SEGA announced that mobile RPG Idola: Phantasy Star Saga ends service on January 12th 2022 in Japan. In-game purchases are disabled starting today, October 31st. Additionally, refunds for in-game purchases will be issued starting January 12th.

SEGA says they’re ending service of the game due to the “difficulty of providing services that satisfies our customers”. These services included improving the game’s systems and planning/managing in-game events throughout its tenure. The development team thanks players for their support of the game across iOS and Android.
