Sucker Punch details save data transfers and trophies for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut

Many players have already experienced Jin’s original journey in Ghost of Tsushima for PS4. Luckily, those on PS5 may continue where they left off and experience new content right away with Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut! Save data transfers on the PS4 version allow players to bring their data over to the new version on PS5. Sucker Punch recommends having the latest patch before initiating “Transfer PS4 Console Save” in the main menu. It’s a very similar mention to FFVII Remake’s save transfers. Additionally, trophies also transfer over to the PS5 version. The trophies will re-unlock with the successful save transfer once the game loads in. More details about specific trophies are available here and here.

Lastly, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut releases on August 20th. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
