    Blue Reflection: Second Light

A girl who appears in front of Ao and company after a certain event. She is cheerful, straightforward, and expressive. She has good reflexes and a down-to-earth personality that makes her easy to get along with. She has also lost her memories, and seems to be searching for her “little sister.”

Hiori Hirahara also appears in the anime Blue Reflection: Ray, and is one of the key characters that tie together the stories of Blue Reflection: Ray and Blue Reflection: Second Light.

—Hiori was given an explanation about this world, but did not seem to understand it very well. She acts on instinct rather than thought.

—Hiori is a caring person who never doubts others. Cheerful and straightforward, she always says what is on her mind.

—The “School Remodeling Project” started with Yuki’s desire to do something fun. While exchanging ideas, the first thing they made was a secret base in the style of a beach house. “I want to eat shaved ice!” the girls frolicked.

But while planning the new construction, Ao was bugged by something. It was the mysterious person who she first encountered when she arrived in this world. Kokoro and the others also saw her, as this ghost-like character seems to appear in the most unexpected places and moments. The group of friends decide to call this spirit Yuko, but it leaves them wondering who else they might encounter in this strange new world.

There may be others in this world besides Ao and company. They must further deepen their bonds to work together and solve this mystery.

The Heartscape that appears outside of the school seems to be a space with varying themes. Some are fairytale-like and others are more modern and lined with buildings. What they share is a sense of distortion.

    ■ System: Crafting

You can gather materials from Heartscapes to cook and craft items. Crafted items can be used in battle. Materials can be found by exploring Heartscape and defeating monsters.

—Crafting will give you the upper hand in battle.

    ■ System: Construction

Using the tools you obtain, you can build your preferred facilities at the school. Gather materials through crafting and exploration, build, place itin the school, and then your work is complete. Special events may occur when you visit the facilities you built.

—Aim to build your dream school filled with your favorite things!

    ■ System: Battle

    Reflectors

Unfortunately for the heroines, the almost dream-like land of Heartscape can also be an extremely dangerous location to explore. Monsters stalk the land, and Ao and friends will need to use the power of rings to summon weapons, change their appearance, and become “Reflectors” ready to repel the attacking beasts in a hectic real-time battle system.

    Ether Battles

Throughout battle, the Ether points (EP) necessary to launch skills recover over time, and their recovery speed gets faster the more these skills strike various enemies. If you go over a certain number of points, you will switch up “gear” meaning you will be able to launch multiple skills at once. Chaining up combos will accelerate the battle speed and increase the amount of damage dealt to the enemy!

Furthermore, if you reach the 3rd Gear, the protagonists will turn into Reflectors, unleashing their secret powers onto the enemy.

    One-on-One Battles

Against a powerful opponent, when you manage to make the enemy falter, one member of your team will approach the enemy. There begins a new fight called “One-on-One Battle.” During this sequence, your party as well as the enemy’s movements will become faster, repeating quick dodges and attacks. After linking up a definite number of combos, a super-powerful signature attack called the “One-on-One Finisher” will be launched!

—Evade the enemy’s attack and follow-up with your own!
