In the latest issue of Famitsu, Fatal Frame producer Keisuke Kikuchi said an interesting statement during an interview. According to Kikuchi, the new release of Maiden of Black Water could impact the series in a big way. Kikuchi states that a positive response to the release could lead to a new sequel in the franchise. He hopes to that many players will take this opportunity to catch up on the game before the next work in the series. We hope a sequel finally arrives as it’s long overdue for the Fatal Frame franchise.
