Sony released their financial results for the latest quarter ending on June 30th, 2021! The PS4 sold 116.4 million units worldwide and 500,000 of those units were in that quarter from March to June. Sales of the PS4 are slowing down at the PS5 generation is underway. As previously reported, the PS5 surpassed 10 million units sold worldwide. 2.3 million of those units were sold between March and June 2021. The PS5 is looking to outpace the PS4’s initial year one sales already. Lastly, there are 46.3 million PlayStation Plus subscribers worldwide.
