PlayStation announced today that Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends multiplayer mode is getting a standalone release on August 20th! This version of the game will be $19.99 on PS4 and PS5. The same Legends content will be accessible on Ghost of Tsushima and Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut as well. Additionally, a new “Rivals” mode will be added within Legends on September 3rd with a new update. This new mode featuring 2 teams of 2 players facing off against waves of enemies to collect Magatama. These Magatama harm the opposing team. A new “Gear Mastery” system will be introduced in Legends on September 3rd too. The gear system is going to be upgraded with a higher level cap and more perks to use. Regular content updates will drop starting September 10th. Lastly, screenshots are available via the PlayStation Blog.
