Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker features more cutscenes, voiced scenes and the most main story content compared to previous expansions

Yesterday’s Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE LXV featured some new tidbits of information regarding the new expansion, Endwalker! The upcoming expansion features more cutscenes, voiced scenes and the most main story content out of any expansion thus far. Shadowbringers fans definitely have an even wilder ride to experience come November 23rd (November 19th for Early Access). It makes the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark storyline which began with the release of FFXIV 2.0 in 2013. Before launch, players can try out the official benchmark on PC starting July 11th. Check out the new trailer here.

As previously announced, some changes to FFXIV are coming with Endwalker. This includes the removal of belts from character equipment, damage value downscaling between level 50 to 80, and new enhancements/adjustments to the combat system. Players have access to new jobs like Sage and Reaper. Like previous expansions, two new cities serve as hubs for players to do quests, deliveries, acquire gear and more. These cities are Old Sharlayan (similar to Crystarium) and Radz-at-Han (similar to Eulmore). For raiders, players may look forward to the Pandaemonium high end raids and 24-player Myths of the Realm alliance raid. A new small scale PvP mode is also being introduced with Endwalker. For those wanting to buy a house, a new lottery based system is being introduced to give players a fair shot.

There are a lot more details like the Ishgard Residential District (housing), new beast tribes and much more so check that out here. Lastly, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker releases on November 23rd for PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and support us on Patreon!
