According to new sales results from Ampere Analysis Insights, the Switch sold almost 6 million units worldwide in Q1 2021. Switch outsold PS5 and Xbox Series X|S combined worldwide which amounted to around 4.1 million units sold. It’s not surprisingly considering the console and part shortage around the world but Switch’s momentum is still strong. It’s also worth noting that the PS5 outsold the Xbox Series X|S consoles by 2 to 1. PS5 sold 2.81 million worldwide while Xbox Series X|S managed a meager 1.31 million in Q1 2021.
