Nintendo and Falcom announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is the next Switch Online game trial starting on May 17th in Japan! Players will have a full week until May 13th to try the entire game out for free via their Switch Online subscription. With this trial, its the perfect time to get into the game before the Switch version of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox releases. Currently, Nintendo has not confirmed Ys VIII to be a free game trial in the west.
