According to the official Toei Animation EU website and various sources, a new Dragon Ball Super Movie is coming in 2022! The announcement is coming on May 9th according to the pulled down article by Toei Animation EU. For now, fans will have to wait for the confirmation of the imminent movie.
*Update* Akira Toriyama has confirmed that the new Dragon Ball Super movie is in production! Toriyama states that an “unexpected character” arrives in the latest film. Fans can expect more “explosive bouts” and action similar to the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie. Additionally, the movie dives into “uncharted territory” in terms of visual aesthetics.
