Some new tidbits of information have emerged for the upcoming Bioshock game via job listings at Cloud Chamber. For those unaware, Cloud Chamber are the developers for the new Bioshock game that started development back in 2019. Various job listings indicate the need for Senior Game Designers, World Designers, AI Programmers and much more. Cloud Chamber has been hiring for a while now and looking for talent to help build a “project full of character and personality”.

The project is going to take “several” years to complete with an ambitious new take on the series. According to the new job listings and adverts, the next Bioshock game will be open world. Talent being brought onto the project will help build “impactful, character driven stories in an open world setting”. In addition, the game is not returning to the familiar settings of Rapture and Columbia. The game’s setting is a “new and fantastical world”.

This Bioshock game is looking to be an exciting new step in the series and we hope it pays off when the day finally comes. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and support us on Patreon!
