    Switch surpasses 19 million units sold in Japan, Monster Hunter Rise surpasses 1.3 million copies sold in the country as of March 28th

    Famitsu revealed their latest sales data for the week ending on March 28th. It’s a major week for Nintendo and Capcom as Monster Hunter Rise 1.3 million copies sold in that first weekend. Additionally, the combined sales of Switch and Switch Lite surpassed 19 million units sold in Japan. Monster Hunter Rise is sure to sell even higher thanks to the series popularity in Japan. Sales for Monster Hunter Rise do not include digital copies as Switch eShop sales are not tracked.
