Team Ninja’s Fumihiko Yasuda wants to make an open-world or sci-fi based action game, says Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection was made possible by fan support

In a recent interview at JPGames.de, Team Ninja’s Fumihiko Yasuda talked about previously released information regarding the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection. However, Yasuda did bring some interesting tidbits about wanting to make an open-world action game or a sci-fi action game if he had the opportunity. This is what he had to say:

“I don’t think there would be a change to the central focus being on action, but I’d like to try something I’ve never made before like an open world design or even explore the sci-fi realm.”

Additionally, Yasuda says that the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection was made possible by fan support over the years. He hopes fans continue to support Team Ninja’s work in the future. Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection releases on June 10th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Steam. Lastly, the full interview is available here.
