Unfortunate news for competitive Pokemon fans as the World Championships 2021 have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Pokemon World Championships are set to return in 2022 in London, UK. Hopefully the event is safe enough to take place next year for fans to watch and enjoy. By that time, fans will be playing a brand new Pokemon game at least!
