Capcom has announced the Resident Evil Showcase! This event airs on January 21st at 5:00 PM EST and features news about the Resident Evil franchise. A new trailer arrives on that day alongside first-ever gameplay footage for Resident Evil Village! Capcom teases more Resident Evil news beyond this so fans should definitely tune in.

*Update* Capcom is now accepting applications for a closed beta test regarding “The 25th Anniversary of Resident Evil”. This closed beta test will take place from January 28th to the 30th on PS4 and Xbox One. The beta test is backwards compatible on Xbox Series X|S and PS5. According to the site, the genre of the test is multi-player action with 4-6 players.
*Update #2* Capcom Japan has announced that the upcoming Resident Evil Showcase will be 20 minutes long.
