Version 1.2 of Genshin Impact arrives on December 23rd which is only a few days from now! This update brings many fixes, changes and features to the game while introducing a new region called the Dragonspine. “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” story act begins alongside version 1.2. Additionally, Players will be able to summon from the new “Secretum Secretorum” summoning banner which includes:
- Albedo (new 5*)
- Fischl (rate up)
- Sucrose (rate up)
- Bennett (rate up)

Summit Shaper (5-Star Sword)
◇ A symbol of a legendary pact, this sharp blade once cut off the peak of a mountain.

Increases wielder’s Shield Strength (when the wielder is on the field, any currently active shield absorbs an additional amount of DMG). On hit, gives an ATK boost (max 5 stacks). When under the protection of a shield, the ATK boost effect is increased.

Festering Desire (4-Star Sword)
◇ A creepy straight sword that almost seems to yearn for life. It drips with a shriveling venom that could even corrupt a mighty dragon.

Complete the Story Quest “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter: Act I” and the Event Quest “Festering Desire” to receive the exclusive sword, Festering Desire!▌Weapon Details
Equipping the Festering Desire increases the DMG and CRIT Rate of Elemental Skills.

The character who equips the Festering Desire during “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” event will receive special buffs in the Dragonspine area.
1. The character who equips this weapon during the event gains bonus DMG dealt via Scarlet Quartzes. They also deal additional CRIT DMG to enemies in the Dragonspine area.
2. The character who equips this weapon during the event will accumulate Sheer Cold at a slower rate. They also gain bonus CRIT Rate against enemies in the Dragonspine area.
3. The person who equips this weapon during the event will deal more DMG to enemies in the Dragonspine area.Aside from the Festering Desire, Travelers can also obtain the weapons Snow-Tombed Starsilver (Claymore), Dragonspine Spear (Polearm), and Frostbearer (Catalyst) from exploration and other activities within the Dragonspine area.
Snow-Tombed Starsilver (4-Star Claymore)
◇ An ancient greatsword that was stored between frescoes. Forged from Starsilver, it has the power to cleave through ice and snow.▌How to Obtain
When exploring in Dragonspine, fulfill certain criteria to obtain the weapon Snow-Tombed Starsilver and unlock its forging blueprint.

Dragonspine Spear (4-Star Polearm)
◇ A spear created from the fang of a dragon. It is oddly warm to the touch.

While exploring Wyrmrest Valley, you can collect Strange Teeth. This will unlock “The Festering Fang” World Quest. Complete this quest to obtain the polearm Dragonspine Spear and unlock its forging blueprint.

Speak to Iris at the Dragonspine encampment to take up the quest “In the Mountains.” Complete this quest to unlock an all-new Domain at Dragonspine’s summit known as the Peak of Vindagnyr. Challenge this Domain to receive the new artifact sets.

Like previous updates, players can expect new weapons in summoning banners and events as well! Those who play Genshin Impact regularly may participate in the “Stellar Reunion” event. Here are more details:

Must meet the following conditions:
Adventure Rank 10 or above.
At least 14 days since last game login.
Over 45 days since last activating the “Stellar Reunion” event.〓Event Details〓
The “Stellar Reunion” event comprises four parts:
● “Reunion Rewards”: During the event, returning Travelers can claim Primogems, Fragile Resin, and other rewards. Rewards can only be claimed once.
● “Passage of Time” Login Rewards: During the event, log in daily to claim Primogems, Fragile Resin, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and other rewards.
● “Homeward Path” Quest Rewards: During the event, complete designated quests each day to claim rewards and accumulate points. When your accumulated points reach a designated value, you can claim the bonus reward Prototype Rancour (Sword). This bonus reward can only be claimed once! The quest list refreshes every day at 4:00 AM. Remember to claim your rewards in time!
● “Reunion Blessing” Double Drops: Returning Travelers receive three extra opportunities each day to gain double drops. These can be used to obtain double the rewards from Petrified Trees in Domains, Blossoms of Wealth, and Blossoms of Revelation using Original Resin. The amount of double drop opportunities refreshes every day at 4:00 AM. Remember to use the opportunities in time!
● After the event ends, event progress will be cleared and any unclaimed rewards will be lost. Remember to claim your rewards in time!※ The refresh times above are based on the time of the server you play on.
