    Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD updated to version 1.0.2 on PlayStation 4 and Switch

    Krome Studios has updated Ty the Tasmanian Tiger HD on Switch and PlayStation 4 to version 1.0.2. This update adds a healthy amount of changes such as disabling motion controls from the pause menu, a new camera control for the Doomerang and swimming sections, and more.

    New: Switch and PS4 Updates

    • Options for disabling motion control support added to the pause screen
    • Added Hardcore mode warning UI when starting a hardcore game, to make it more clear to the player what it means.
    • Added new control/camera inversion for swimming and Doomerang controls
    • Implemented 1st Person Infrarang effect on the Switch
    • Miscellaneous small bug fixes and performance improvements.

    • Implemented new 1st Person Infrarang effect
    • Added options to disable motion controls to the pause screen
    • Added Hardcore mode warning UI when starting a hardcore game, to make it more clear to the player what it means
    • Added new control/camera inversion for swimming and Doomerang controls
    • Improved SSAO quality
    • Improved performance of some UI
    • Fixed rendering of waterfall in “Walk In The Park” and “Lyre, Lyre Pants on Fire”
    • Fixed clipping issue in minigame in “Walk In The Park”
    • Fixes for a few minor memory leaks
    • Fixes for rendering issues with the water in “Bridge on the River TY”
    • Fixes for spelling errors of the backers in the credits
    • Fix for camera issues when you teleport, while jumping/gliding
    • Allow the player to skip the credits at any point (in game or main menu) due to their length
    • Changed gas jet particles to blue so it looks like gas, not fire, for “Fluffy’s Fjord”
    • Fixes to texture issues on some of the character skins
    • Fixes for TY model issue for during “Outback Safari”
    • Fix for rendering issue in “Ship Rex” – seeing out of the world
    • Updated backer art images to be platform agnostic
    • Fixed bug where if the doomerang was thrown near the origin of a level on any map, the boomerang would freeze
    • Fixed rangs being invisible after you respawn at a dunny
    • Improved quality of autosave icon
    • Fixed some issues with values not properly resetting when a hardcore save game was reset, on death
