Nintendo has announced that Rune Factory 4: Special will be free-to-play for Nintendo Switch Online members in Japan from November 2nd to the 8th! Players in Japan can try out the latest game in the farming sim/life series for free soon. Additionally, the game will be 50% off in the Switch eShop until November 24th. This free trial and deal should come to the west just like Disgaea 5 Complete did but we will have to wait for confirmation.
*Update* Nintendo Switch Online members in the EU can now play the free trial of Rune Factory 4 Special according to Nintendo Everything!
