Sony is looking to purchase Crunchyroll for nearly $1 billion according to Nikkei Asia

In a recent report by Nikkei Asia, Sony is looking to buy anime streaming service Crunchyroll for $957 million. Sony already owns Funimation and this deal could bring the two services together. With nearly a billion dollars to spend on Crunchyroll, speculation rises for what else Sony could purchase if this deal follows through.
