PS4 players have been upset over recent changes to the party chat. For instance, public parties were removed entirely following firmware 8.0, muting functionality was changed and much more. Luckily, PlayStation is looking into feedback and another firmware update could bring back features that players miss. This could also be valuable leading up to PS5 as PlayStation can use the feedback to determine what players really want in terms of party chat features.
