Fans of Kingdom Hearts: Union χ and the series as a whole were treated to some new story content this month. The darkness within Ventus has been a topic fans have theorized for quite some time now. This includes Stretlizia’s death and the real culprit behind the incident. Lauriam questions Ventus about this as the darkness is emerging once again and it somewhat confirms the real cause behind her death. Skuld: If the darkness truly is inside Ventus, then… why hasn’t it even attacked yet?
Ephemer: Is there even a way to trap it?
Brain: What we know about darkness at this moment is all but pure conjecture. After all, we only have Ventus’s testimony, and that is not enough to even form a train of thought, I’m afraid. And even IF we track it down…I’m sure its plans have been set in motion, whatever they are.
Ephemer: So basically…we have no leads. It could definitely attack soon, for all we know.
Brain: Yes. And Stretlizia’s disappearance might be connected to this.
Skuld: Her cause of disappearance? For what reason?
Brain: I still do not know why Darkness wanted Stretlizia out of the picture. Just…
???: What…did you just say?
Skuld: Lauriam…!
Ephemer: What happened, Lauriam?!
Lauriam: That doesn’t matter…Stretlizia’s disappearance…
[Lauriam grips Brain]
Lauriam: ANSWER ME, BRAIN! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!
Ephemer: Wait!
Lauriam: GET OUT OF MY WAY!
[Lauriam punches Ephemer away]
Skuld: Ephemer!!!
Brain: I guess…my guesses were right…
Lauriam: WHAT?! WHAT GUESSES?!
Brain: Darkness’s objective…is to instill instability…anxiety…doubt…fear…All those elements… in order to scatter our connections….
Skuld: Stop, Lauriam!!
Lauriam: What’s the meaning of this…?
Ephemer: Lauriam…just calm down and listen.
Lauriam: Stretlizia… what happened…
Ventus: I…I erased her…
Skuld&Ephemer: V-Ven! What are you saying?!
Ventus: The reason your sister vanished…was because of me…
Skuld: VEN, NO!
Ephemer: VEN, DON’T SAY IT!
Lauriam: Ven…what…what did you do to my sister?! What did you do to Stretlizia?!
Ventus: Uuuugh…
Skuld: VEN!!!
Ephemer: Lauriam, stop.
Lauriam: Ven…say something…
Ventus: Uuuuugh…
Brain: Lauriam, STOP! You’re not acting like yourself!
Lauriam: You’re in my way…
[Lauriam gets his Keyblade out]
Lauriam: ANSWER ME, VEN! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!?!
Ven: Waaaaaahhhhhhh!!!
Ven: …rong…I’m wrong…
Ephemer: What…?!
Skuld: Is that…?!
Lauriam: What is the meaning of this?!
Brain: You’re…Darkness…
Darkness: Wow, you have a really sharp perspective. Of us, I mean.
