SNK has announced that they will be conducting an open beta test for their rollback netcode patch for King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match! The beta will start on October 1st 10AM(PDT) and will end on October 15th 10AM(PDT). Here is an overview of what to expect from the beta test from SNK themselves!

Hi everyone! We here at SNK have been listening and we want to make your dreams come true. Together with our friends at Code Mystics, we are proud to bring you a new Beta of KOF2002UM which now includes Rollback Netcode!
But we need your help to make it as polished as possible…
For the time being, this new update will be part of an open community beta. If your PC’s running a 64-bit version of Windows, then try out the beta for yourself by right-clicking on KOF 2002 UM’s properties, selecting the Betas tab and then select “64-bit trial” from the choices. We welcome your feedback in the Discussion Forums so please be sure to let us know what you think!Notex1: The Beta can only match against other Beta versions of the game, but you can opt out at any time by selecting “NONE” under the Betas tab. We hope you enjoy and look forward to your feedback!
Notex2: KOF 2002 UM owners from all over the world are free to join this beta, so go out there and show everyone what you’re made of!
