Veteran fighting game and Tetris 99 developer Arika is working on Super Mario Bros. 35 with Nintendo. This isn’t surprising considering the game takes various aspects of Tetris 99 into the battle royale Mario game but its interesting to note. This is another project under Arika’s resume which dates back to 1996 with Street Fighter EX. The company recently developed Fighting EX Layer, a successor to the Street Fighter EX series with original characters from that franchise. As previously mentioned, Tetris 99 is Arika’s latest work with Nintendo on the Switch.

Lastly, Super Mario Bros. 35 requires a Switch Online account to play. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
