    Microsoft details the Xbox Velocity Architecture within the Xbox Series X

    Microsoft has released a new blog post details the Xbox Series X’s Velocity Architecture! A new trailer was also released, showcasing games such as Scarlet Nexus, Hellblade 2 and Bright Memory: Infinite. The Xbox Velocity Architecture takes advantage of the Ryzen Zen 2 CPU and RDNA2 GPU within the Xbox Series X to deliver many new features not found on consoles before. This includes:

    • A custom NVMe SSD (2.4 Gb/s raw)
    • Hardware accelerated decompression
    • DirectStorage API
    • Sampler Feedback Streaming
