During the credits of the Devolver Digital Direct, Suda51 made an appearance for about 3 seconds. It’s pretty easy to miss but on close inspection, it’s actually new footage for No More Heroes 3. The most interesting part is that it looks like the game is going to have a pretty substantial open world. No More Heroes 1 and 2 did have an open world but it was mostly held back by the limitations of the Wii.

It’s worth noting that Suda is known for teasing a lot in the past. It isn’t even the first time he’s done this for No More Heroes 3. Last month he made a short appearance at New Game Expo+ where he stood in front of new footage for the game. No More Heroes 3 is still scheduled to be released in 2020 as a Nintendo Switch Exclusive. Be sure to stay tuned to Final Weapon for more on No More Heroes 3.
